Starts with Yu-kun talking about Osaka Toin winning Koshien this year (by the way the final was Osaka Toin against Akita school so that was why Yu-kun watching it 8D/). He got lots of mails from his friends regarding his song Niji (last year’s Koshien theme song) being played at Koshien. He was like “Why???” because this year the theme song is sung by Fukuyama Masaharu-san and Arashi.

 

Kura: (Suddenly butting in even when Yu-kun haven’t introduced him lol) Yeah, like Omoidama too. There’s lots of feelings contained in that song.

Yu-kun: Huh? There’s a suddenly voice from the sky 8D/

(Kura is in Osaka for Gr8est con so he got connected through facetime. Sounds pretty nasally. Reports said he has problems with his voice in today’s con but he’s really cheerful! ^^)

Kura talking about 1^st day of Osaka con being cancelled since the train service is being stopped early that day due to Typhoon. So when that train service cancellation is announced, he said that the members discussed and think that it’d be a huge problems for the audience to not be able to go back home after their concert (other than the danger that typhoon may cause to the audiences). But Kura said they insist to attempt to try to do another con as a replacement. So they are still in the middle of discussion nowadays about that so when things had been decided and the right time comes, they’d announce it to the public.

Kura said they were thinking about the feelings about the audiences who had came from very far away to go to their con, who purposely took off for this, who had given lots of courage for them... So he said when he’s thinking about the feelings of various audiences, his heart hurts X3. So, if the plans (of having a replacement concert) comes through, he really hopes that the audience of the cancelled concert of the first day could get to come because they really want to do it.

Yu-kun asked about the feeling of having the con after one-month break. He asked about Yasu since Kura said back then that if he see Yasu not feeling well, he’d pull Yasu off the stage. Kura then explained that Yasu is still in the middle of rehabilitation, but he is in a much better condition that how he was a month ago. But not only Yasu, for the rest of us too, this time after a month, they get to do the concert with a much calmer heart and with more enjoyment.

Yu-kun: Does Yasuda-kun seems like he’s having fun?

Kura: He seems like he’s having lots of fun. :D

Yu-kun asked if Kura gets to walk around in Osaka during this time and Kura said well, it’s live after all. There’s not much time to walk around so he didn’t have the chance to stroll in Osaka for now. He talk about there being a Takoyaki zone among their Osaka tour catering service in the Kyocera Dome though XD. Also, he’s not sure what is it that makes him feel that way (since he’s indoor all the time due to con preparation) but there’s still a feeling of “I’m home” to him when he’s touring in Osaka.

He said that feeling is probably due to the people he meets here. Like for example, yesterday Kansai juniors came to their concert. Janiben staffs came to their concert too! There’s also people who had been in contact with eito for about 15 years came to their concert too. So when he see them, he get this feeling of “I’m home”.

Yu-kun asked if that makes him has a different feeling when he performs there. Kura said oddly that makes his heart calms down. Kura said it’s not like anything changed much but the moment he reaches Shin Osaka, his heart feels relieved and he totally can empathized with Osaka Lover song X3. They talk about Osaka Lover being played at USJ’s roller coaster. (Not sure if it’s related or not but well, Osaka Lover is one of Subaru-kun’s favourite song.) Kura said when he realizes that that sort of thing makes him feel keenly, he realizes all over again that, “Ah, I’m definitely is someone who was born in Osaka”.

Yu-kun then talk about Osaka audience have a much more different reaction compared to the audience that he entertained throughout other parts of Japan. Kura said nowadays the difference in reactions is getting thinner actually. A few years ago, there’s stuff like when you’re doing MC, the audience just directly get themselves involved in the MC talk too XD. Like for example, “This sort of thing had happened…” and the audience goes “Nandenan~! (Whyyy!- It could be interpreted as a tsukkomi of sort too lol)”. Kura said compared to MC it feels more like homeroom class discussion lolol. Kura said since they grew up in that sort of environment, when they first toured at other places and didn’t get that sort of reactions, they wonder if it means that the audience are not having fun. But they gradually realize that such sort of reactions is something that is unique to Osaka alone lol.

Yu-kun said since his bandmen are Osaka people, they always told Yu-kun the difference between Kansai audience and Tohoku audience. Tohoku audience are much more quiet but it doesn’t mean that they are not having fun. It’s just that they didn’t express what they are feeling. On the other hand, Kansai audience just directly convey whatever they are feelings, which makes the atmosphere seems more heated up lol.

Kura then talk about during this concert tour, Maru-chan did gags during each MC, and each time the concert ends, he end up feeling down. Rather than feeling down it’s more like, Maru-chan is always normally very cheerful but after concert ends, his switched got changed and he’ll be like, “Ohkura~~” to Kura and asking Kura to spoil him lol. So now that they are at Osaka, Maru did gags but XDD after it ends he complainted to Kura about Osaka audiences being really strict about humor. (Kansai audience are famous of not going easy on your jokes just for the sake of it. Since they are used to gags and jokes, their level of what is ‘funny’ is pretty high level XD;)

Kura said he was laughing a whole lots as he stand next to Maru who was doing that gags and he finds Maru’s gags to be really funny actually but he guessed Maru’s expectation regarding the response to his joke is not met by the audience for him to say that XD. Kura said he thinks the audience actually reacts pretty well to Maru’s gags but Maru feels differently about it. So Kura guessed it was Maru who was too severe on his own gags X3. He said Maru-chan is too severe on himself.

Yu-kun: Maruyama-san feels down about that sort of things? XD

Kura: Maruyama-san easily feels down about a whole lots of things XD. Maruyama-san is a really cute person.

Yu-kun: So when he became like that, he goes to you and asked to be spoiled by you?

Kura: Yeah, he goes to me and is like, “I’m happy and having fun when I’m talking to Ohkura… :’)” but I was like, “Why are you saying that after such a long time of us being together!” XD

Yu-kun: You guys are really close huh? XD The more I listen to talk about Maruyama-san, he seems more endearing to me XD

Kura: He is. And today he actually seems to be actually really nervous lololol. He’s more nervous today than yesterday. Like today was supposed to be the third day but it ends up being the second day after the first day being cancelled. But well, it’s live so each day the audience are different, the reaction will be different too and you know, like on this day, there will be technical issues or timing miss for this and that. It’s not like the moment of “This gag received really good reactions from the fans!” or “This part of performance makes the audience really heated up” will continue all the time so for me, I will accept it just as it is and I just have fun for what it is since each lives are unique in itself. But for Maru it’s 1 against 50,000 people after all (regarding gags) XDD… Like when we’re doing band or sing, it’s 6 with 50,000 people (as in they all unite as 1 with the audience). But when it comes to gags, it became a versus sort of situation XD.

Yu-kun: So it was a situation of Maruyama-san vs the audience vs the members?

Kura: XDD No such things (about vs members). I laugh a whole lots to his gags! But well, I was actually laughing at that situation too (maru vs the audience) XDD. So when I see that, I was thinking to myself, “Ah, it was really funny. With this, his endearingness increases lol”

Finally finished opening talk and heading to title call but Kura is losing more of his voice now. ^^; But it got a bit better after the CM!

Letter:

A male fan who doesn’t write his name. Said he went to today’s concert and had lots of fun. He had screamed “Tacchon” too XD. Kura said he’s really fun and that years by years thankfully the male fans are increasing. Yu-kun said he usually attended the Tokyo Dome con for eito cons so when Hina makes the eighter call of male and female eighters, he’s pretty surprised that the ratio is half and half. Yu-kun said since the voice of female audiences are much higher, it might seems like there’s more female fans but the male fans voice are actually less heard due to their low tone XDD. Yu-kun said the number of male fans is most probably due to eito’s unique charms.

Oh! Yu-kun said the staff told him that the number of male listeners who sent letter to ANN is increasing too and Kura said it’s probably thanks to their dirty talks lololol.

Kura: Rako, I have enough of you already! XD

LMAO, he talks about it seems that Maruyama-san seems to be getting not good laughter response but the one who gets even lower laugh response is actually Murakami-san. *snort* Kura scolded Rako-festival and said he’s being rude to Hina lololol.

Kura: No such things!

Yu-kun: So, from the point of view of Ohkura-san, is this true?

Kura: Let me decline from commenting this. 8D

Yu-kun: Ohohohoho! XDD

Kura: Well more like getting little laughter, it’s more like him not getting laugh? Because his role is usually like, “The veteran MC” sort of position (as in to smooth the talk and not to create laughter). His jokes are more like, “Oi, y’all watching my face and laugh?!”. He’s more like, “THE MC”, you know?

Yu-kun said they both are MC of tv shows though (Maru and Hina). Kura said they are both of different genre of MC. For example Hina’s show requires you to be funny but Maru-chan’s show is more like a info/news show so there’s less needs for jokes. So since Hina has more time for practice of jokes than Maru, of course Hina is more veteran regarding controlling his jokes compared to Maru.

Yu-kun ask again if eito ever plans their MC talk and Kura said they had never planned their MC talk ever before so they didn’t even do such thing nowadays. Even Ohkura-kun and Takahashi-kun radio show talk also had never been planned before lololol. 8D Kura jokes and said they (ANN) should start planning the topic of their talk starting from this very hour lololol.

Awn, Kura losing his voice again.

Kura said since a lot of things are happening everyday so it’d be nice that it is as it is (free). There will be days where they talk aimlessly but there will be days where they’d be like, “Ah, we’re saying serious stuff today huh?” too. Also lol, Kura said after doing for 3 years, they are probably saying the same thing over and over again but just changing the way the say it bit by bit lololol. Kura said there’s practically no balance between the topics sent by the audience lol. Either it’s something normal or something really crazy like licking your elbow fetish (fetish talk sp ANN). Kura said there’s no in between with the topics given XDD.

So as Kura continues on talking and losing his voice, Yu-kun suddenly goes, “Ohkura-san… Ohkura-san?”

Kura: What, it’s CM time now or something? I’m getting hypersensitive about CM now (Because the staff teased him about not knowing the CM timing even after 3 years of doing ANN lolol).

Yu-kun: No, no, it’s not about CM. ^^; It’s just… your voice. You sound like someone who had recently came back from karaoke relay or something lol.

Kura: It’s not karaoke, it was live! >:(

Yu-kun: You sound like you have been screaming your ass off at karaoke box or something

Kura: Don’t make me sound like an ossan who was releasing his stress at karaoke box! I was desperately singing (for live)! Well, it’s not like it changed all that much but as we became 6, my singing parts had increased a bit. Compared to last year, I have to sing a bit more than before. But well, I guess I still haven’t got used to it (he’s getting hoarser XD) and I don’t know how to control it yet. But well, throughout my whole life, this is the first time my voice got this way. Previously, no matter how much I sing at karaoke, my voice had never gotten this way. But I feel like there’s something really off with my throat.

Yu-kun: Huh, seriously? I think you should get a check up with doctor then.

Kura: Right? It feels like it’s something related to my ancestors.

Yu-kun: Huh?!

Kura: I guess I got ancestors who’s bad as singing and is jealous of me and is possessing me now 8D

Yu-kun: Ohkura family ancestors?! If that’s the case then please stop possessing Ohkura 8D;

Kura: I think I should go to visit them at the cemetery then. Since I didn’t get to go during Obon. XD

Yu-kun: Ah, you’ve been busy after all…

(I think he’s joking around in order to not worry anyone but take care Kura! Hope you get the time to see doctor soon! I mean you have been talking about your throat feeling odd since April’s ANN already!)

Yu-kun went back home during Obon season because he really wants to see them. During Obon season is one of the only time that the whole family gets to gather together like what Kura seen during the Obon season that he stayed at Yu-kun’s family home last time lol. Kura said that’s nice, and that it must be calming to get to see your family’s face. Yu-kun said since he’s still in the process of song creation at that time, with the change of location and scenery, he gets to get more inspiration with the change of surrounding, looking at people in their normal everyday in the train and listening to their talks there. Kura said the way Yu-kun describe all that makes him THE artist lol.

BY THE WAY!!! Yu-kun have finished writing and recording all his songs for the album yaaay!!! Congratulation and otsukaresama Yu-kun! Can’t wait for it! XD Yu-kun thanked Kura too for it and also thanked ANN staffs for giving him the freedom and time for his song creation lol. Kura revealed that Yu-kun was a bit exceeding the time limit lol but he thinks song creation is really difficult after all. If you’re being told to write songs, you can create song but he believes that song creation is something that is ‘born’. Kura asked Yu-kun’s feelings about being told to create song (not gonna translate it since he had talked about it before). Yu-kun said his switch for song creation is on when the staffs around him starts to seemingly give up on him XD.

Yu-kun said since he’s weak against pressure, he realized this time around that he’s more capable of producing songs when the pressure is being lifted off him compared when it’s on him. XD Kura said since the people from Yu-kun’s recording company is watching them outside the studio now, he’s hoping that Yu-kun’s words this time gets conveyed for future reference lol.

Caller. They talk about the meaning of her name. Kura said he heard that when your parents give you the meaning of that name, that is how they raise you too so Yu-kun divert it to Kura and asked him if he feels like he is raised the way his name means (His name means loyalty and righteousness). Kura said his parents does raise him that way and he tries to be that way too but well, he lives by always reflecting on his actions. He knew that there are probably people who thinks that he doesn’t live that way though. On the other hand, he thinks Yu-kun is grows up to be exactly what his name means though. Yu-kun’s name means “gentleness” and Kura said Yu-kun is a really gentle person.

Yu-kun: Lol, so this program is a combination of Tadayoshi-san’s loyalty and righteousness and my gentleness XD

Listener is training to be a dietician. So Kura asked her what sorts of food should he eat better now since he’s lonely every day. She said, “Your mother’s cooking” XD

Yu-kun: Lol, are you saying that as a dietitian?

Caller: No, since he’s saying he’s lonely lol

Kura: Ah, so when you’re asking for love, mother’s cooking is the best huh?
Caller: For me it’s that way XD

Kura: Okay, so I’m going to go and eat my mom’s cooking

Yu-kun: Yeah, go and eat your mom’s cooking and get well soon after that  ^ ^

Caller talk about the client being someone who she met when she goes to a “Aisekiya” last year. (Aisekiya is an izakaya where you go with your friend and the restaurant lets you meet random other stranger to share your table. Kinda like blind date. It’s free for girls. So when males come in, they can randomly ask for water to be served to someone they are interested in and let the other party enjoy the stuff they order for the other person.) So during the time when they met at that Aisekiya, he was asking her to go to hotel with him but she declined so meeting her during work is really awkward she said XD;. He’s a dietitian too but much more senior than her! So he mailed her and said, “I think you do know this but don’t tell senior about this (meeting at Aisekiya)”

Kura said the guy is kinda lame because he’s kinda threatening a junior at a work venue for something he wishes to hide at work (I agree :/). Kura said if he was told that way he would be like, “What’s with that guy!”

Yu-kun: By the way, Ohkura-kun, you know a lot about Aisekiya huh?

Kura: I heard it from a friend who had went there. It’s not me who had went there. If I go to such place it’d be chaos!

Yu-kun: What about the two of us go there together? 8D/

Kura: I’d like to give it a try, but I think the agency will give me a mighty scolding lol (for having to handle unnecessary tabloid reports lol).

Ira Ira Janken corner today was really funny but meh, too lazy to translate that today XD.

They were talking about people not wanting to drink from the bottle that you drink of. Kura said he doesn’t mind drinking from another people’s bottle. Yu-kun said people always declined from drinking from his bottle so he wonders if his mouth is smelly or something lol. Kura said they are probably just being cautious because he is THE Takahashi Yu. Yu-kun said he got hurt of their caution though lol. Kura said he had never offered from his bottle to others though. It’s because he’s afraid that people would decline, and he didn’t want to get hurt. It’s risk management he said XDD. He thinks he do to his bandmates or friends, but he didn’t do that to the staffs. Yu-kun said he feels like he was doing power harassment instead when people declined lol.

Lol, it’s been a while since Yu-kun and Kura couldn’t understand each other’s words since they were using really deep Kansaiben and Akita ben.
